Snällkalendern
”Snällkalendern” is a project to reclaim Christmas. In 2014 me and my friend Didrik got tired of December becoming a shopping contest. Instead we want kindness to be the symbol and hallmark of Christmas! So we created ”Snällkalendern” – a Christmas calendar where every hatch reveals a small act of kindness that you’re challenged to do. Together with Plan Sweden, we sold the first edition of ”Snällkalendern” 2014. All the revenue went to Plan’s programmes for helping children in need.
The response to our calendar has been overwhelming. National media picked up the story and people from all corners of Sweden have been writing nice letters to us, encouraging us to keep fighting for a kind Christmas.
