When COVID-19 impacted the world, Svensk Handel, the Swedish trade organization, recognized the need for unified, national guidelines and graphic materials for Swedish retail. Collaborating with the agency Barkas, we developed a concept that was clear, lighthearted, and appealed to a broad audience. I created illustrations that were personal, soft, and minimalistic. This ensured they conveyed the seriousness of the situation without burdening customers in stores.

The illustration style is simple, designed for maximum accessibility, while the motifs depict diversity in gender, background, age, and ethnicity.
